African Caribbean Food Month Launch: An Evening Of Flavour, Culture And Inspiration, With Ainsley Hariott!

Advance booking is essential for this free event!

A wonderful event to mark the launch of African Caribbean Food Month in London,  join in at this special event with UK favourite TV chef Ainsley Harriott!

Ainsley was inspired to cook by his mother, later training at Westminster College before setting out on a career in some of London’s top hotels and restaurants.

Years on, he’s best known for much-loved TV show “Ready, Steady, Cook”, and with many solo cooking series under his belt, Ainslet has become a master when it comes to fresh, fun, accessible cuisine!

Be there for this insightful conversation with journalist Lorna Cooper, as Ainsley shares more about his Caribbean upbringing and how it inspired his passion for cooking! Hear about how he became one of the nation’s most beloved chefs, and the role of food in shaping identity and community.

There’ll also be a dynamic panel discussion on the evolving African Caribbean Cusine scene in the UK- moderated by the award-winning restaurant critic and author Jimi Famurewa – with some of the pioneering chefs shaping the movement!

As if you needed any more reason, there’ll even be tastings from local food businesses, although on a limited/first come first served basis, so get there on time! A fantastic event all round!
