The third album from Nashville natives is a reassuringly lo-fi affair, blending one take vocals with casio drum beats and geek punk synth bursts. Frontman Neil Fridd claims that this album gives you everything an album could be except for boring. And as it turns out, he’s right! OK, so technically, it’s a B-Sides album. But it’s got a charm all it’s own. And with song titles like ‘Voldemort Time!’ and ‘Wonderdave’, what’s not to like?
6/10, out now, Jimmy Volts
