Celebrating and performing two of her classic albums, “Solitude Standing” and “99.9F°” in full, expect to hear classic tracks such as “Luka”, “Tom’s Diner”, and “Blood Makes Noise”. Simply armed with an acoustic guitar, Vega emerged as a leading figure in the folk-music revival of the early 1980s. Her 1987 album “Solitude Standing” charted at number 2 in the UK and number 11 in the USA. Keen to push the boundaries of her genre, she released the more electronic-driven “99.9F°” in 1992 which was described as ‘industrial folk’ and ‘techno folk’.
