The Bluetones may be no more, but their enigmatic frontman still has a desire to tour the open road. Just as we (the music-loving public) still yearn to hear such classic tracks as “Slight Return”, “If”, “Bluetonic” and more. Check out this snippet from a more recent solo show at Exeter’s Cavern for a taste of what to expect from this performance.
As you can see, the “cheeky chappie” mind-set of his early days still remains and its great to see that Morris doesn’t take himself to seriously. Still, you can’t deny the above song is an unabashed brit-pop classic, along with many more of his original compositions.
Support on the night comes from Adam Ficek of Babyshambles fame, so it’s sure to be a night of acoustic rock revelry. If you were lucky enough to bag yourself a ticket for this show, then you can count yourself among a privileged few, as it’s now completely sold out.
