London-born hiphop star Giggs will play the last leg of a small UK tour at The Eventim Apollo, hot from the success of his fourth album “Landlord” in late 2016. Giggs is viewed by many as a seminal figure to the recent progress of British rap and grime, and his work continues to be cutting edge.
Little surprise that “Landlord” reached number 2 in the album charts and Giggs won Artist of the Year at the 2016 Grime Daily Awards.
Giggs has a rich back catalogue to draw upon, and his live set should combine tracks from his most recent long play with deep cuts from his infamous early mix-tapes.
Tickets cost £30.
Doors are from 7pm.
