You’d be hard pressed to find any self-respecting music fan who doesn’t have an appreciation for the synthesiser.
Some might say Mr Gary Numan is one of the undisputed kings of the instrument. Rising to fame in the late seventies with hits such as “Are Friends Electric?” and “Cars” he carved out a niche for himself that saw him achieving three consecutive number one albums.
Since then, Numan has continued to experiment with his music, churning out a wealth of material that proves he’s truly a master of his craft.
Over the years, despite coming in and out of fashion, he’s built an ever growing army of fans and received seals of approval (and collaborated with) numerous influential artists such as Marilyn Manson, Trent Reznor and comedian Noel Fielding.
This October, Numan takes up residency in London’s Forum for a three day stint, performing Replicas, the Pleasure Principle and Telekon in their entirety, as well as performing numerous hits from his back-catalogue. After that, he heads up to Manchester for a performance at the Academy.
Tickets are bound to fly out the door for this one, so be sure to act fast if you want to get in on the action.
